Work Experience with iProtectU
Henry De Maria’s hands on placement
Work experience is a powerful bridge between education and employment. This summer, we were delighted to welcome Henry De Maria to iProtectU for a hands-on placement inside our fast-paced compliance software and technology team.
A structured start
Using iProtectU Software
Henry began with our standard onboarding process which included mandatory eLearning and a health & safety induction to make sure he understood our systems, responsibilities, and culture of safety from day one.
Ofcourse, Henry used our software to complete his onboarding and was exposed to our eLearning and Training management software, Audit Management Software and health & safety induction training as a result.
Real-world exposure
Sites, clients, and teamwork
With induction complete, Henry joined our team on client visits across the UK, including a site meeting with Premier Marinas, and attended Teams calls with international customers as far away as Thailand.
Seeing how different organisations use iProtectU software across different sectors gave Henry a valuable context for how compliance software supports day-to-day operations.

I enjoyed the site meeting at Premier Marinas and meeting the team. It was interesting to see how they use the software on a daily basis
